Information we collect
When you use our contact form, we collect the information you choose to provide: your name, company name, work email address, optional phone number and message. We may also receive information when you contact us directly by email or phone.
Why we use your information
We use your information to respond to your enquiry, discuss relevant IT Hive services, provide requested information and manage our business relationship with you. We do not sell your personal information.
Our usual legal basis is our legitimate interests in responding to business enquiries and running IT Hive. Where appropriate, we may also process information to take steps at your request before entering into a contract or to meet a legal obligation.
How long we keep it
We normally keep enquiry information for up to 24 months after our last meaningful contact, unless we need to keep it longer for a legal, accounting or contractual reason.
Who processes information for us
We use carefully selected service providers to operate this website and handle enquiries, including Vercel for website hosting and Resend for contact-form email delivery. These providers process information only as needed to provide their services. Some providers may process information outside the UK; where this happens, appropriate safeguards are used where required.
Cookies and analytics
This website does not currently use advertising or analytics cookies. If we introduce non-essential cookies or analytics in the future, we will update this policy and ask for consent where required.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you may have the right to request access to your information, ask us to correct or erase it, restrict or object to processing, or request a copy in a portable format. To make a request, email hello@ithive.co.uk.
You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office if you are unhappy with how we use your information.
